Lot includes four from set of six - Howdy Doody, Clarabell, Flub-A-Dub and Mr. Bluster. Howdy Doody has portions of cloth body featuring images of Howdy Doody characters. Howdy's head has become tacky w/age and body has some aging. Fine. Clarabell has .25" piece off top tuft of hair and lt. wear. VG. Flub-A-Dub has some lt. wear but is o/w Exc. Mr. Bluster's hat shows heavy paint wear and body has some scattered aging. VG. Each box has character name below window. Boxes show varying degrees of wear w/Clarabell and Mr. Bluster boxes missing cellophane windows. Howdy and Clarabell boxes have 1953 stamped date on top and tape repairs. VG/Fine. Mr. Bluster box shows moderate wear w/tears and fading, partial sticker on front. Good/VG. Flub-A-Dub box shows least amount of wear and is Fine overall. Puppets are rare as boxed and this is the first time we have offered them as such in our 48 years.
