4.5x9.5x1.5" deep illustrated cardboard box contains unused oil painting set by D&D Industries, Inc. © Kagran Corp. 1950s. Set contains two canvas color-by-numbers sheets, instruction sheet, paintbrush and 10 of 12 paint ampules. These have warped w/age. Rest of contents have some aging but are VF-Exc. overall. Box is lightly aged and has some corner tip wear. Fine/VF. Comes w/clipped "Toys And Novelties" ad for this set. Lot also includes "Howdy Doody 6 Coloring Books" boxed set by Whitman, No. 2926:39. 1950s. 8x8.75x1" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains complete set of six coloring books, titles include - "Mister Bluster's Book To Color, It's Howdy Doody Time, Flub-A-Dub Coloring Book, Clarabell Clown, Here's Dilly Dally" and "Howdy Doody's Circus." All but "It's Howdy Doody Time" are unused, used book just having a few pages colored. Rest are Exc./NM. Box has slight inward warp to lid w/corner tip wear. Fine/VF overall.
