Item Description
3.75x6.75x7/8" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains New Haven watch w/1x1-3/8" silver luster metal case w/original leather bands (w/"New Haven" name on backside of band). ©1948 News Syndicate Co., Inc. Box lid has Chester Gould profile illustration of Dick Tracy and Dick Tracy Jr., complete w/original matching insert. Lid has surface dust and corner tip wear but retains its shape and is free of splits. Fine/VF. Bands show lt. wear from being boxed over the years and appear to have never been worn. Dial has image of Dick Tracy from knees up w/"Dick Tracy" name across his waist. Dial shows some trace of aging w/scattered pinpoint marks but image is strong. Case retains full luster. VF and running. Displays nicely as boxed.
