Item Description
2" dia. silver luster case Ingersoll pocketwatch. 1934. Silver luster on back of case has trace of surface wear and two pinpoint indents. Small trace of wear to "Always Find Time For A Good Deed - Tom Mix" lasso text, but this is only noticeable upon close inspection and most paint remains. Left side edge has moderate luster wear but o/w bright luster remains near complete on rest of case. Watch face has full color image of Tom Mix throwing a lasso which loops over/around Tony towards the lower center where there is a small longhorn steer second wheel. Watch has its correct bright yellow hands and dial has some age toning and tiny traces of wear but these are only noticeable upon close inspection. Running and Fine overall. One of the rarest and most sought after character/personality timepieces. We have only ever offered one other example in our 48 years and that example (in lesser grade w/replaced steerhead disc paper) sold for $2,590. Example being offered here is all original.
