Item Description
2.25" deep by 13.5" long by 5.5" tall target set consists of full painted tin base, metal rod which has five different hard plastic figures of wolf, crow, owl, vulture and coyote that can swing around as designed when hit. Base features amazingly detailed scene w/two cowboys at left and cowboy on horseback, chasing and shooting at two buffalo. All hand painted by Marx factory artists, "Bar-M-Ranch" sign at right. Plastic figures are unpainted. Painted text on reverse reads "Mod. 1967-A - 1-14-53 - Girard" indicating this prototype was made in Girard, PA. 1953. Toy still displays Exc. Similar to the Rex Mars Planet Patrol Target produced by Marx, but this target was ultimately unproduced, featuring targets that were not used on any target made at that time.
