Item Description
4.25" dia. by 5.5" tall, 1 lb. size can features superb graphics of steaming cup of coffee on saucer on one side and blue/white image of "Honest Abe" Lincoln on other side. Lewis De Groff & Son. Tin was made by Passaic Metal Ware of Passaic, NJ. and has Jan. 30, 1923 can patent date. Additional text reads "Dealers Are Authorized To Refund Money In Case Goods Are Not Satisfactory." Original threaded lid w/embossed "Steel Cut - To Open Turn" text w/most gold luster remaining on lid. Tin has some scattered lt. wear w/two minor .75" line indents on sides and two 1/8" spots of bare metal showing to right of Lincoln image. Front and back images o/w remain bright and clean. VF example of a superb coffee tin.
