Item Description
Double-sided 11.25x19.5" sheet w/weekly contests that ran from May 14 to July 23, 1934 through Quaker Puffed Rice and Puffed Wheat cereals. One side features ad to "Listen In To The Babe Ruth Program." 11 contests have poem (three w/image of Ruth) for user to complete, cut out and send in for competition to win "1001 Prizes Each Week." First prize each week was all expense paid trip to New York or Chicago to see Babe Ruth play, second prize was Babe Ruth Spalding fielder's glove, third prize was Babe Ruth Spalding baseball. Top of center has nice Ruth photo portrait (wearing unmarked hat). First week section has been neatly filled out in pencil while rest remains unused. Folded as issued w/lt. aging/handling wear. Fine/VF. Uncut and scarce as such as most were sent in.
