Item Description
Pair of 11x14" lobby cards for the original release of the 1941 MGM film starring Johnny Weissmuller in the titular role. Cards both depict him, both seen w/Maureen O'Sullivan as Jane, one w/Johnny Sheffield as Boy and Cheetah the chimpanzee. Back of first card (Tarzan/Jane) has back hand-painted "Pay Your Defense Tax Here - Remember Pearl Harbor" w/Pearl Harbor name w/painted flames. Pinholes at corners and top/bottom center margins. 1" tear at top right. Fine. Second card (group) has lt. corner tip wear and a few tiny scarred spots of moisture at upper right. VF.
