39.5x77.75" three-sheet poster for original release of the 1946 Monogram crime film starring Kane Richmond in the titular role of The Shadow (and his alter ego Lamont Cranston) and Barbara Reed as the female lead Margo Lane. Nice graphics include large full body image of The Shadow lurking in the shadows w/inset portrait image of Richmond and Reed (who appear again in lab scene at top right). Poster was issued in two pieces, w/bottom third being slightly off-center as printed, but graphics/text line up. Poster has horizontal and vertical folds as issued w/scattered color touch-ups/restoration along fold lines/fold intersections. These touch-ups blend for the most part and faces and other main images are mostly unaffected. VG/Fine overall, but main image area retains bright, bold color and would mat and frame for a nice display. Rare.
