Item Description
13.5" long w/18.5" wide wingspan tin litho "Strato Airlines Stratoliner 700 - Skycruiser" passenger airplane. c. early 1950s. Design includes tin litho tail and two original hard plastic motors w/soft plastic propellers (see following item #1354 for four propeller variety) that rotate when friction action is used. Friction action works w/engine sound. Toy has just lt. trace of scattered wear and aging, but remains bright and glossy and functions work well. VF/Exc. From the John Bowers Collection.
