Item Description
13.5" long w/18.5" wide wingspan tin litho warplane. c. 1951. Design includes tin litho tail and two original tin litho motors w/free-running metal propellers. Machine gunners are pictured on sides behind wings and on top tail section. Wings are marked "U.S. Army" w/flying star and top of airplane body has machine gun turret design. "6" on nose tips. Original tin litho balloon style tires show next to no wear and wind-up mechanism on underside works well. Toy remains bright and glossy. Exc. From the John Bowers Collection.
