Item Description
This unlisted rarity is 1-1/16” wide with the ornately embossed brass frame on a 1-3/16” stickpin. Featured are oval portraits of each man with a panel across the chest bearing the last names “Grant/Wilson”. Between Hake and DeWitt there are only five 1872 Grant/Wilson uniface jugates cataloged and we are not aware of this sixth version being offered within the hobby during the past several decades. Muted luster on the brass frame with the ferrotypes themselves very close to Mint condition.
