Item Description
Sullivan #1876-41. This item is constructed very similarly to the preceding Hayes but this piece is just slightly larger at 11/16” with 1” stickpin. The tightly woven tan fabric has slight tonal variations which are evenly spaced and seem to be a decorative pattern rather than the result of any aging to the fabric. The ferrotype has the tiniest raised bump along his hairline at left that shows slightly in reflected light but the ferrotype has 100% clean and glossy emulsion and the piece displays essentially Mint. Rare.
