19x25" paper poster printed by the Engineer Reproduction Plant of the U.S. Army, Washington Barracks, D.C. in 1919. Poster features nice art image of four Doughboy infantry soldiers marching w/Columbia in bkg. in horse-drawn chariot. Image is surrounded by emblems of seven Infantry Divisions - First Division (Camp Taylor, Kentucky), Second Division (Camp Travis, Texas), Third Division (Camp Pike, Arkansas), Fourth Division (Camp Dodge, Iowa), Fifth Division (Camp Gordon, Georgia), Sixth Division (Camp Grant, Illinois) and Seventh Division (Camp Funston, Kansas). Bottom has text reading "Infantry Division - Enlist For Infantry, Cavalry, Field Artillery, Engineers, Signal Corps, Quartermasters Corps, Medical Department Or Coast Artillery, Air Service, Tank Corps, Motor Transport, Ordnance & Construction Division" in an attempt to replenish the army with new recruits after the end of World War I. Poster has some scattered handling wear w/small chips to margins, but still Fine/VF overall.
