Item Description
1-7/16” with brass rope frame and numerous tabs holding a metal plate on the reverse with vertical pin. Unlisted in Hake. Button was issued for Roosevelt’s visit to Pittsburgh to deliver a fourth of July speech. Contrast is light but all details are clear. Couple of tiny black dots on the upper edge at 1 o’clock but all else is clean. A rare single day issue with only a few examples known.
