Item Description
5.75" tall (8.75" tall to top of upright handle) tin litho sand pail. One of the early sand pails by Ohio Art, 1930s. Sides features great beach scene of Mickey Mouse, Horace Horsecollar and Clarabell Cow running towards wave w/swimsuits on, Mickey w/inflatable tube about his waist. "Mickey Mouse" name along base. Side has even moderate aging w/slight fade, and scattered wear in the form of small nick/scratches, but images remains strong. Exterior has numerous minor dents/creases to metal, most noticeable at rim. Moderate scattered paint wear to handle and interior or pail, w/oxidation to inside base, less so on underside. VG/Fine overall. Rare and the first we've offered in our 48 years.
