Item Description
Wilson is 2.25” with darkened silvering but largely intact. There are tan age marks on the left edge of his face and others in the area of his hair although these blend very well. First example we’ve seen. Second item is 2-3/4” tall. Issued by “American Bar/East Liverpool, O.” Additional text reads “Are You Wet Or Dry?/Mail Orders Our Specialty/Wholesale Liquors.” Great color scene depicts what would now be considered child abuse with old woman holding aloft one of her shoes and twisting the ear of a young child in a diaper. In the area of her lower apron there are about a dozen tiny craze lines that are not elevated and show just in reflected light. Side edge shows stain but only a tiny trace seen on the front at 2:30 o’clock. Both pieces are quite scarce.
