Item Description
First is 5/8” silvered brass with high relief portrait and name “Woodrow Wilson.” A metal slot on the reverse joins to a black leather double strand strap 7.5” long. First we’ve seen and NM displaying Mint although we do not know it’s purpose. Second on a thick leather strap 6” long is a 1.25” “Woodrow Wilson” celluloid held to the strap on the reverse by a pair of brass ears. If strap is closed with buckle an opening about 1.25” in diameter is created. Strap may once have been slightly longer. What remains is NM although again purpose unknown to us. Third is a leather fob holding a brass shield “Wilson/1912/Marshall.” Minor wear on the leather and brass has muted luster but clean. Fourth is 5-7/8” tall leather fob. Upper part of leather is somewhat creased although the embossed brass fob itself is NM. Displays large “W” initial at center surround by “Wilson & Marshall 1912.” Last is a 1.25” real photo celluloid of Wilson with pair of metal ears on the back holding it to a leather fob although the leather is missing from just above the buckle. Celluloid remains NM displaying Mint. Don & Mildred Wright Collection.
