Item Description
1.25" with W&H backpaper. Classic perched eagle design most often seen featuring a presidential candidates portrait. This one instead reads "Zlot VIII Okrecu II Z.S.P. 1910 Milwaukee, Wis". While the specific purpose of this button is unknown to us our research turned up an Oct. 29, 1910 'Conference Of The Polish Socialist Organizations' at the Socialist Party of America Chicago headquarters. Additionally earlier that year on January 23 & 24 Emma Goldman gave lectures in Milwaukee. NM displaying Mint. Rare.
