Item Description
Largest is 2.25"/smallest 7/8". First c. 1950s features flag and "Viva Puerto Rico Libre". Second is 3" tall with graphic of activists behind a flag that includes text "Stop The Repression". Additional text reads "Free Puerto Rican Political Prisoners Independence For Puerto Rico". Third has graphic depiction of tree and root system and reads "Free The 11 P.O.W.'s Independence For Puerto Rico". Root system includes references to: "OVRP" (the Organization of Volunteers for the Puerto Rican Revolution), "FALN" (Armed Forces of National Liberation) and "FARP" (Revolutionary Armed Forces Of The People). FARP was the most active exacting 120 bomb attacks on US targets in both U.S. and Puerto Rico. Fourth button from the "Workers World Party" with text "U.S. Imperialism Out Of Puerto Rico". Last three c. 1980s. All are NM displaying Mint.
