Item Description
Lot of three 8x8.5" die-cut, heart-shaped Valentine's Day cards featuring art by R.F. Outcault that were published by Raphael Tuck & Sons Co. Ltd. Back of one card has "1914" pencil date. Two cards feature Buster Brown w/Tige while other features Mary Jane. Both Buster cards have penciling on reverse. One comes w/original string for hanging. Others are missing strings. Card w/string has .25" nick out of right margin and is Fine/VF. Other Buster card shows lt. wear and is VF/Exc. Mary Jane card is unused w/two small tears at string holes at top but card is o/w VF.
