Item Description
First is 7/8” showing British General Roberts with text “’Bobs’ Chewing Tobacco.” Light stain on the W&H back paper but cello remains NM displaying Mint. Next are both 1.25” picturing Paul Kruger leader of the Boer rebellion against British rule. Both have text referencing the “Oom Paul 5c. Cigar” with one referencing a cigar company in Michigan. This has W&H paper while the second is missing the paper and has noticeable rim stain. The one with Michigan text is NM displaying Mint. These are all photo plate examples from Collectible Pin-Back Buttons with the Bob and Michigan example from the Tobacco section #540 and #525. The stained button is from the Boer War section #68. Comes with Hake’s COA.
