Item Description
Original cardboard box w/illustrated generic label contain 15" tall nice quality stuffed doll w/velveteen-covered body and fully jointed head, arms and legs. Made by O'Lis of France, 1930s. This doll was made in several sizes; this is the largest produced. Doll is missing one button from back of pants, other button on back partially loose but still attached. Right arm has 1" split at seam but this is easily hidden for display. White face and hands noticeably aged w/some darker brown spots around nose. Aside from this aging, appearance remains nice and the velveteen fabric itself shows very little wear. Fine. Box label reading "Mickey-Mouse" has image of teddy bear and dog. Label has Olis logo w/"Made In France" French text. Moderate box wear w/slight warp, pair of corner splits to lid, 4" split at one corner of box bottom. 1" edge split and 1.5" tear to side panel of lid. VG. Rare.
