9x13-3/8" blister card contains five 2.75" to 3.5" tall solid plastic figures by Processed Plastic Company, ©1982 Marvel Comics Group. This company also made a "Combat Team" (see following item #2314), that was nicely done but did not sell well. In addition to the figures, set comes w/plastic grappling hook and 60" long "Transport String" and "Super Heroes Activator," a device that was attached to the feet of the figures in order to make them battle. Included here are - Falcon, Human Torch, Doctor Doom, Spider-Man and Green Goblin. Card features two action images of Spider-Man, Green Goblin as well as portrait images of the 12 characters in the series. Card shows moderate scattered wear w/corner creases and scattered aging, but blister remains firmly affixed to card. Fine overall w/figures Mint as packaged. Comes w/four loose figures that include - Thor, Captain America, Iron Man and a duplicate Doctor Doom. Figures show lt. scattered wear and are VF-Exc. Figures feature great detail. Despite this attention to detail, both this and following item #2314 did not sell well, accounting for their scarcity.
