Original illustrated cardboard window box contains four 2.75" to 3.5" tall solid plastic figures by Processed Plastic Company, ©1982 Marvel Comics Group. This company also made a "Collection Set" of carded figures (see previous item #2313). In addition to the figures, set comes w/"Super Heroes Activator," a device that was attached to the feet of the figures in order to make them battle. Included here are - Captain America, Sub-Mariner, Doctor Doom and Iron Man. Set also includes 20 bagged Army Green soldiers, plastic grappling hook and 60" long "Transport String" and 8.25" plastic free-wheeling "Combat Pickup" w/Captain America sticker on sides. Box features images of all 12 figures in set on side panels and remains mostly factory-sealed (right side has large split to shrinkwrap) and has bottom left/right corners on front of box w/heavy creasing/denting. Insert features image of Captain America fighting American soldier and is a bit warped. VG. Truck sticker has some aging but o/w contents are NM-Mint as packaged. Neat set. Figures feature great detail. Despite this attention to detail, both this and previous item #2313 did not sell well, accounting for their scarcity.
