Item Description
10x12" sheet of animation paper has 4-7/8x5.75" tall red/lead pencil image of Donald Duck w/additional green colored pencil accents. Donald is depicted w/piece of mail in hand. From the 1942 World War II propaganda cartoon "The New Spirit" that encouraged American citizens to pay their income tax in support of the war effort. The cartoon was the first film created as part of Walt Disney's World War II propaganda production. Lower right has "Art Props Dept" production stamp and penciled number "87." Right margin has scale in red pencil. Sheet has lt. handling wear, none of which affect image area, which remains Exc.
