Item Description
Largest item is 5” tall and smallest is 2.25” tall in order left and right and top to bottom these are: 1914 calendar card for Blue Bird Motor Cab Co. Next in celluloid card holder from 1921-22 is a card giving a “Member Union League” free service by the “Quaker City Cab Co/Philadelphia.” Name on the card is “John Edmonds.” Next is cardboard with monthly calendar pad from 1936 promoting “ABC Taxi.” Next is pocket mirror for “Broadway Taxi Service.” Circa late 50s. Next is pocket mirror for “Yellow Taxi Service” circa 1950s. Small wear at lower right corner. Next is celluloid badge with vertical pin on back. This is a Baltimore Police Dept. issued “Taxi Bureau Driver” badge. From 1948. Next encased in celluloid is a Baltimore taxi license from 1948. Next from 1952 encased in a metal frame covered in celluloid is a Rochester NY taxi license. Small wear traces around the narrow metal frame edges. Last is cardboard with attached real photo serving as taxi license in Louisville KY in 1947. Small traces of emulsion off the photo edges. Overall Exc. except with minor defects as noted.
