Item Description
This is a first seen 6” rarity for us. Reverse is black cardboard with a tin frame which holds a wire easel so it will prop. A fabric cord has been added so it could also be suspended. Event name was “Los Angeles International Air Meet” and it was among the earliest air shows in the world. Event was held in Los Angeles County at Dominguez Field with a turnout over an 11 day run of 254,000 people. The Los Angeles times called it “One Of The Greatest Public Events In The History Of The West.” Button shows well dressed spectators, some using binoculars, to view air ships in the sky plus primitive airplane while on the ground are two tethered balloons. Very trivial wear only in reflected light. NM displaying Mint.
