Item Description
Smallest are.75” and largest is 2”. Vast majority of these name a specific paper with a number of them related to the grade school publication “My Weekly Reader.” Characters shown include “Benny” from a 1930s Los Angeles Evening Express series of contest buttons. Two additional buttons picture Hopalong Cassidy circa 1950. Bottom two rows comprise eight buttons for “Dick Mansfield Safety Care-Fulier.” These were issued by the Washington newspaper The Evening Star. Slight age on row 6 number one but vast majority are NM displaying Mint. An outstanding collection of newspaper sponsored kid’s club buttons.
