Item Description
Smallest are 1.25” and largest are 3.5”. Majority are from the 1930s with others dated for 1941, 1980 and the Mets pair circa 1970s. In row 1 and row 2 the first button in each row promotes “Olympics Champion Club.” Row 1, #2 is football theme. This has several long hairlines. Also tiny cello pull along the bottom edge. Next is nice button from “The Portland News” with text “Knot Hole Club/Boost The Beavers.” The pair of football shaped buttons read “Your Football News Is Here/Ask For It” and the larger reads “The Call-Bulletin The Favorite Football Paper.” There are a pair of buttons from Reading with one mentioning the “Reading Red Sox.” One golf button names “Sports Illustrated/1980 U.S. Open, Baltusrol Golf Club/Guest.” One of the Mets button pictures Willy Mays with the art signed by Bill Gallo. All display clean and glossy with the one exception as noted.
