Item Description
First is 2.75” oval with metal covered back and fixed horizontal bar pin. No maker name. This piece is from their earliest years and the design of this button differs from more modern designs in that the football is positioned with the stitching on the top edge rather than being positioned with the football facing the viewer and the stitching across the center. Small mark on the letter “Y” was dirt now removed. NM displaying Mint. Comes with 1960s era 1.25” button reading “Beaver Falls Celebrates Joe Namath Day.” NM displaying Mint. Scarce pair.
