Auction #214 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1007 in auction 214
Item Description
c. 1930 is a rather long baseball bat shaped knife about 4”. Grips are celluloid and identical on each side with text “Official League Ball” above a circular red celluloid area. Blades have been somewhat worn down but no significant damage other than normal use. One blade is marked on the base “Bridge Cutlery Co.” Celluloid grips have only tiny traces of wear. When the blades are closed the larger blade does not quite go entirely into the groove and the point protrudes about 1/8” above the grips. Second item is 2” tall and comes with its plain but original box. One side has color photo of him plus gold text “Los Angeles Dodgers World Champions.” Opposite side has a large belt or pocket clip. The piece holds one nail file plus one knife blade marked on its base “Stainless Steel/Japan.” Item is Mint as issued. c. 1965.
