Large 14-1/8x18" pressbook for the original release of the 1936 MGM film that starred Johnny Weissmuller in his third turn as Tarzan. Pressbook is filled to the brim w/promotional content, including wonderfully illustrated lobby displays that include giant vampire bats, sportswear (modeled by Weissmuller), coloring contests, a large display w/outline of Tarzan asking "Are You A Perfect Tarzan?" w/his measurements, various posters and banners, Edgar Rice Burroughs Tarzan books, comic strips, Coca-Cola tie-in, "Tarzan Escapes" BLB, Tarzan Ice Cream cups, pocketknives, stationery, toy film projector, large wild animal truck display/float and much more. Pressbook has heavy vertical crease at center and covers show obvious wear and dust soiling. Upper left has ragged 1.5x2.75" corner torn off (including both front/back covers and all pages). Good/VG overall, but rare and first we've seen in our 48 years.
