Item Description
9-5/8x10.25" die-cut sign printed on front w/art image of premium rubberband gun at right and inset photo of "William Boyd - Hopalong Cassidy - Paramount Star." Text includes "Hey, Kids!" w/premium choice of Hoppy gun or Linda Ware doll w/text at lower right "Free With Purchase Of 28 Oz. Package Of Pillsbury's Farina." Below this is empty space for price, which remains unused. 1940. Sign is designed to fit over a box of Farina for store display and has some scattered aging and lt. wear but is unused and VF/Exc. Comes w/7.25x15" colorful thin cardboard punch-out premium which is printed on front w/Hoppy rubber band gun and inset photos on grips of "William Boyd - Hopalong Cassidy" plus three stand-up targets of masked cowboy, Indian, buffalo. One corner is notched twice for missing original rubber band, easily replaced. Tiny traces of aging/wear but VF/Exc. overall. This is a file copy from the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold accompanied by a letter to this effect signed by Gordon Gold.
