Item Description
10-1/8x15" artboard has photostat "Lash LaRue Western" title paste-over at top w/large photo image of LaRue and boy in Western outfit. Bottom has "In This Issue: Ticket To Despair! Starring The King Of The Bullwhip!" story title/info. This is production art used by Fawcett Publications during publication of "Lash LaRue Western" #42 from July, 1953. Artboard has various production notations along margins and "A Fawcett Publication" paste-over strip at bottom center. Artboard has some scattered aging and wear and has some aged strips of tape along top margin and just right of center below cover image. VG/Fine and comes w/reading copy of the actual comic. LaRue has signed just below cover image at lower right in black felt tip pen. Despite artboard issues, signature remains bold and displays Exc. Comes with Hake's COA.
