Set of all four 8x11.25" magazines published of this title by pulp magazine publisher The Frank A. Munsey Company under their "Red Star Magazine" imprint. ©1942. Magazines featured "Western Pictures And Stories" w/covers featuring Roy Rogers and Trigger, Gene Autry and Champion, Buster Crabbe as Billy the Kid and Don "Red" Barry. Scattered handling wear and aging w/pinch creases to spines. Fine overall. Comes w/typed letter dated Feb. 11, 1943 and letter notes the cancellation of "Cowboy Movie Thrillers" magazine, noting final, March, 1942 issue. Letter has been signed by secretary and folded as mailed. Scattered handling wear/aging. VF. Interesting lot for this short-lived Western magazine.
