Item Description
20x29" tin litho advertising sign shows pastoral scene w/old man w/walking stick being approached by hunter and his dog. The hunter cradles his rifle in the crook of his arm and extends his hand, which holds a bottle of Old Overholt Whiskey to the older man. In the bkg. another old man can be seen hurriedly crawling over fence towards them. 1905. Sign has no restoration but does have some creasing to metal in 2.75x5.5" area at lower left. Margins shows trace of wear as once framed, w/slight age line showing. As is, sign still displays Fine. Sign is rare. Comes w/8.5" tall (including original cork stopper) Old Overholt glass flask style bottle w/raised "Full Pint" notation, the same style as featured on sign. Bottle has partial remnants of original tax stamp/seal and label is evenly aged. Fine.
