Large 7.5x22.5.19" tall illustrated cardboard box contains uniquely designed game. Ideal, ©1962. Box has moderate scattered wear including color rubs, edge wear and large area of moisture staining at upper right of box. VG. Gameboard is large high-relief hard plastic facade depicting a haunted house. Game is played vertically as Haunted House stands upright. There are three peg-shaped markers that fit into holes along the edges of the house front. Along the way, these pegs are used to open secret doors to reveal instructions behind them. There are also hidden images such as Frankenstein, Dracula and a black cat. Other parts include a three-dimensional hard plastic "Hooting Owl Spinner." Also comes w/illustrated cardboard display platform that the house sits on. This includes a fold-out flap reading "Thrills & Chills" along w/list of game features. Missing instructions and jewel. Contents show some scattered wear and are VF-Exc. overall. Great design.
