Item Description
Large 18x18" piece of thin vinyl has high-relief mask design of the titular Xenomorph aliens in the 1992 "Alien" sequel "Alien 3." This is a test shot from the Collegeville Costumes Archives that was created before the costume went into final production. This is the version chosen, w/inner set of jaws being depicted closed as seen in production piece. Sheet is marked "For Ken" in large black felt tip pen, Ken being the sculptor/artist for this and all masks at Collegeville at the time. Once Ken was happy w/his work, it was sent off to the next step, which resulting in test shots like this. A lightweight piece of thin vinyl was collapsed over his sculpture and then sent back to him for approval, hence the "For Ken" inscription. Sheet has pinholes along margins and scattered dust soiling. VF overall. A unique piece for display.
