Item Description
2.25” with covered metal back and bar pin. Curl names maker Parisian Novelty. Button pictures Betty in her classic alluring stance with her name at the left and with “© Fleischer Studios” at the right. Outer edge has tan age dots around most of the circumference with a very slight scuff below the word “Week.” Button retains full color and high gloss. Likely issued by a local movie theater promoting her cartoons and issued shortly after her debut in 1931. Also see Betty Boop item #1074. A rare button and the first we’ve seen.
