Item Description
Highly detailed but unmarked sterling silver ring issued in 1948 as a store item by W.G. Simpson Co., Phoenix, Az. and made by ring firm Uncas whose trademark appears on the inner band. Band has a dark mark at the bottom where the ring was cut by jeweler to be sized into a single non-adjustable band. This is a size 6 which would fit a typical ten year old. Detailing on the ring's sides above the stirrups is just a little smoother than usually seen but this is quite minor and overall the piece displays beautifully with his name “Roy Rogers” clearly engraved in the saddle seat. Scarce.
