Item Description
Each is silvered brass with adjustable bands. Ring with star design on top showing initials “ROA” (Radio Orphan Annie) and club name “Secret Society” is from 1936. Minor tarnish and minor indent on one lower prong but overall Exc. Second ring has “ROA” on each side while top is composed of very tiny numerals that were meant to be decoded using the club 1937 decoder badge. The decoded message translates to “I Am A Silver Star Member Of Orphan Annie’s Secret Society And Belong To The Circle Of Her Special Friends.” Minor tarnish on the silver luster as expected but otherwise essentially Mint. Robert M. Overstreet Collection. Comes with Hake’s COA.
