Item Description
Ring is brass with adjustable bands featuring geometric designs on each side. Top has rectangular plate in silver luster and this holds a pair of personalized die-cut brass initials, in this case “HW.” This rare premium ring is from Quaker cereals, 1938. About our fourth in five decades. An essentially Mint example. With the lot is a 2.75x3.5” paper folder that opens to 16” plus there are a pair of additional separated panels for another 5.5”. Although in two pieces the folder is complete. Much advertising for Quaker and showing many premiums including this ring. While this ring does not carry the Dick Tracy name, some of the premiums in this catalog do. These include his booklet “Dick Tracy’s Radio Adventures”, his rocket plane, the Official Dick Tracy Siren Code pencil. Paper is lightly tanned but clean. A rare catalog as well as a rare ring.
