Item numbers 1008 through 2793 in auction 214
Item Description
First is 1.5” long whistle made entirely of brass. The wide stem area reads “Official Jimmie Allen Secret Signal”. The curved piece of brass features an airplane image. A premium from Skelly Oil, 1936. Bright luster is gone but brass surfaces are clean. Next is 1.5” wide rare brass badge from the 1930s. Center has the classic wing design with shield naming the sponsor “Richfield Hi-Octane.” This piece was awarded as part of an airplane model building contest. Top and bottom text panels on this read “Merit Award/Model Builder.” Small traces of original luster with the other brass surfaces being clean. Rarely seen due to limited distribution.
