Auction #214 - Part II
Item numbers 1008 through 2793 in auction 214
Item Description
This ring is unlisted in both Hake and Overstreet Ring Guide. It is brass with adjustable bands. Upper edge of each band has a circular design perhaps representing a shield. Rectangular rim top shows profile of Indian flanked by the words “Wampum Club.” Lower brass bands are just a little misshapen but coming close to forming an even circular shape. Luster is gone but brass surfaces remain clean. From the 1930s and obviously a premium although the sponsor is unknown to us. Rare.
