Item Description
See previous item for a little history on this character. Group begins with 1-1/8” litho button sent to USA members. Initials on the button stand for International Secret Police. Button has all over tiny paint craze lines but still displays well. Next is the rare 1.25” celluloid version of the button which was sent to members in Canada. Curl reads “Shaw Mfg.-Toronto.” Both these and the following metal badges are all circa 1937. Badges are about 1.5” to 2” tall or wide. First is the rarest of all the badges for this show. Titled “Speed Gibson” he is pictured on the upper half of the shield shaped badge while below is a flying airplane with “Flying Corps” on the wings. Below are the club initials “I.S.P.” NM and we’ve seen only one or two in five decades. The following four badges are in shades of brass luster with text in blue. These include a pair inscribed “Gorman’s Bread.” Next is for “Dreikorn’s Bread” followed by “Cote’s Master Loaf.” These are all Exc. to NM.
