7.5x10.5” hardcover contains “Action” #60 May 1943, “Adventure Comics” #82 Jan. 1943, “All-American Comics” #11 Feb.1940, “Boy Commandos” #4 Fall 1943, “Detective Comics” #38 April 1940, “Flash Comics” #51 March 1944, “Green Lantern” #1 Fall 1941, “More Fun” #66 April 1941, “Sensation Comics” #2 Feb. 1942, and “Star Spangled Comics” #6 March 1942. Of special note is “Detective Comics" #38 w/the origin and first appearance of Robin the Boy Wonder. This issue is missing the four page center spread but the Robin story is complete. “Action” has front cover edge split nearly detaching from book, “Boy Commandos” has cellophane tape on covers, “Green Lantern” has hand-colored Photostat covers w/rough pages and tape repairs, “Star Spangled” has front cover repair w/bit of cellophane tape on back cover. Cream to tan pages. Handwritten and typed table of contents. Issues average Good-VG+ overall. A great opportunity to obtain an instant collection of bound classic issues.
