Item Description
Hardcover spine text reads ”M.E. and Ajax Comics Vol. 1”. All are 1950-1956. First issues include: “Black Phantom, The Ghost Rider, Black Cobra, The Flame, Rocketman”. Other titles are: “Strongman #2, The Avenger #3, Cave Girl #13, Tim Holt #18, Straight Arrow #36, Red Mask #53, Phantom Lady #3, Swift Arrow #5, The Lone Rider #7, Samson #12, Terrific Comics #16”. “The Avenger” has robot cover, “Tim Holt” has last photo cover of the series, “Phantom Lady” has heroin story, “Terrific” has “Wonder Boy” cover and story and is last pre-code issue. A few issues have ink stamp names, “The Avenger” front cover has 1” strip of cellophane tape at lower right and .5” piece off lower right corner, “Phantom Lady” and “Swift Arrow” issues have tiny corner tip off all pages. Some covers have lt. creases., all have some degree of wear. Issues overall Good/VG+. A nice instant collection w/some scarce titles.
