Item numbers 1 through 945 in auction 185
Item Description
1.5" cello button that hangs from a 2.5" flag ribbon which in turn is attached to a 2" crossbar that says "Peace Jubilee." Reverse of cello has b/w photo of "Lagoon October 10-15, 1898." Around the perimeter of the reverse are some white spots which do not really show up significantly. The brilliantly colored obverse has the wording "Trans-Mississippi And International Exposition 1898" surrounding the words "Omaha USA." Below the word Omaha is a Greek goddess who holds a wreath in one hand and has the wand or caduceus of Mercury in her other arm. The wand of Mercury being the symbol for modern day medicine. Ribbon has noticeable color bleed; however, front of cello is exceptionally clean and Exc.
