A rare DC licensed issue from 1958. Album is 8.5x12.5" w/32 pages for mounting set of 240 thin paper stock cards, each x.3". Text is in Spanish. Title translates to "Superman On The Doomed Planet" an adventure that takes him into space to deal w/life on another planet. Great front cover art, back has an ad for albums including this one. Inside front has attached order form for other albums including a number for Disney characters. Pages feature story text w/numbered blocks where cards were to be mounted. Comes w/34 cards, 20 have been mounted at appropriate spots, 14 others loose. 12 feature Superman. Loose cards have varying degrees of wear from Fair w/insect damage to clean and EX. Those in the album are EX to NM as mounted. Also included is paper "wrapper" envelope w/Superman title/image. Lt. wear, .25 inch margin tear. Fine. Album cover has few small surface paper flakes, trace of scattered margin age spotting but remains bright w/vibrant color. Pages clean. Fine. First we've offered in our 48 years.
